POAP Airship allows you to receive a POAP automatically when you make a qualifying transaction on-chain. If an issuer is using Airship, it means they’ve set up a special way to thank participants like you with a precious digital collectible just for taking action.
It’s simple and seamless. All you need is a wallet and a qualifying transaction.
Before You Begin:
To collect a POAP through an Airship, you'll need the following:
- A crypto wallet
- You'll need a wallet with sufficient funds to send a transaction.
- Popular options include Rainbow, MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, and WalletConnect compatible apps.

- A qualifying transaction
- The Airship details will be predefined by the issuer, including:
- Start and end date/time
- Receiving wallet
- Transaction amount

For example, you will receive a POAP for sending 0.001 ETH to a specific address which is listed in the Airship details
💡 You do not need to mint the POAP manually, the Airship will detect your transaction and send it to your wallet automatically.
How to Collect Your POAP
Step 1: Check the Airship Details
- Navigate to the Airship collectors page. There, you'll find:
- The campaign's start and end date/time
- The minimum transaction amount

Step 2: Complete the Transaction
You have two options:
Option 1: Complete the transaction within the Airship.
The Airship can build the transaction for you in just a few steps.
- Click "How to buy"
- Select "Connect to buy"
- Choose your preferred wallet
- Confirm and sign the transaction

- Once submitted, you will see a confirmation message

- When complete, a success message with the option to view the tansaction in a block explorer

- Success! You can view your POAP in the POAP Home app or on desktop using POAP Collectors
Option 2: Send the transaction manually
- Locate the receiving address listed in the Airship details
- Using your preferred wallet, send the required amount during the Airship campaign.
Make sure:
- You're using the one of the supported network(s)

- You meet or exceed the minimum transaction amount
💡 If you send less than the required amount, the transaction will show up as a "Tip" and you will not receive a POAP
Step 3: Your POAP Will Be Airdropped Automatically
Once your transaction is confirmed, the POAP will be automatically airdropped to the address that sent the funds.
You can view your POAP in the POAP Home app or by searching your wallet or ENS on POAP Collectors.
Tips to Keep in Mind
- No refunds: Make sure you understand the Airship's rules before sending a transaction. The issuer sets the campaign's dates, times, transaction amount, and supported network(s). POAP cannot not issue refunds for incorrect transactions.
- Timing is everything: Only transactions made within the campaign window are eligeble.
- Network matters: Always double-check that you are using a supported network(s) before sending any funds.
